Visiting the Chappell's

Jon Owen acting like a spy when we first arrived. I had fun trying to catch his eyes peering out over the furniture before he slid behind something again. I finally caught those gorgeous brown eyes!
all the kids together and Kennedy was so good considering she did not get a nap that day. I imagine she crashed on her way home and took a good nap.
Scott Smeltz agreed to be Asher's godfather! Asher is blessed to have such wonderful people and parents to be his godparent's.
Jacqui agreed to be Asher's godmother!

We were fortunate enough to be able to see Jacqui, Jay, Hudson, Jon Owen and Lauren on Sunday afternoon and Scott, toni & Kennedy joined us. It was a wonderful afternoon and Jacqui made some green hatch chili stew and enchiladas. The stew (which she toned down the spice on) was still way to spicy for me but the enchiladas rocked. Everyone loved, loved, loved the stew too. The kids played and we got a chance to catch up. It was great to see friends because we have started to miss them in PA. Lauren put on her best dress at 6 AM that morning which Jacqui made her take off until it got closer to time for our visit. She looked beautiful as always and Jon Owen was the sweetest coming over to hug Asher about every 30 minutes. Hudson, who is two, was saying baby Ash-ow and is Twoooo! I'm twoooo he would say every time you asked him hold old he was. I hope Jacqui gets a video of it. And miss Kennedy was having fun entertaining herself with all the new toys at the Chappell house. She is a very independent thing for an only child. it was a perfect afternoon and the nicest day of our whole trip!
