It has been a while since I posted some pictures. Here are a few from our recent trip back home to see family and friends. We had a great time and Asher did great on the plane especially since we planned the trip for his nap times. The above is a picture with Grandmother Shirley and Brayden, Ben & Tiffany's little boy.

He decided it looked like fun to sit on daddy's feet and he enjoyed the ride. Wheeee!!

Easter - Asher 17 months

Hunting for Easter eggs. He was more interested in eating the candy (only M&M's) because he found an egg before the hunt began so it was all we could do to keep him off that hill before it was time to hunt the eggs. I think he tried anyone's hand that was willing to be pulled out into the backyard to get those eggs. However, once the hunt began all he really needed was one egg with his M&M's and he was done. Ha.

Yes, I let him take the empty wine bottle and play with it. we were having fun blowing in the top and making fun sounds!

That is Asher's way of saying outside. It is rather high pitched with a very sweet inflection on the drawn out iiiiii. He wants to be outside at 7 AM until we force him to come inside. The weather around PA has been gorgeous lately so we have been able to oblidge him on most days.

Here is a picture of Asher playing some "drums" i made up for him with some mixing bowls. However, today we went to the home and garden show and Asher got to see some real drums. They were kind enough to let him band around on them and he was quite good. He was using both drum sticks and he tested out all the symbols and the cool noises they make too. Of course, he was not happy when he had to give the drum sticks back.

Reading Elmo with Daddy

Asher loves pretty much anything to do with Elmo (La La) as he calls it. For those of you that don't know, Elmo starts his program with "La La La La, La La La La, Elmo's World....". He also loves books and especially the ones that have the flaps where stuff is hidden behind him. Matt is reading Asher his elmo flap book in this picture. He happens to prefer to have daddy read him this one as opposed to anyone else. I think Matt makes the animal noises better.

New hairdo?

What do you think about the hair do that his dad gave him during bath time? Of course, I came up with the camera to take the pictures upon prompting!
